Late Afternoon Kaohsiung Ferry Ramp and Piling System at Low Tide

A late afternoon view of the Kaohsiung waterfront shows the exposed mudflats of a ferry ramp during low tide. Weathered concrete pilings rise from the wet, glistening sediment, their surfaces stained with dark mineral deposits and salt residue. A small, rusted metal gangway extends from the concrete platform, its steps leading down toward the receding water. In the distance, the silhouette of a cargo ship sits low in the harbor, while overhead, power lines crisscross against a pale, hazy sky.
