Marked Pavement in Kaohsiung at The Last Blue Light Of Evening

The deep blue twilight settles over the industrial waterfront of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where the massive, rust-streaked hull of a ship rests in a dry dock. Rain has recently passed, leaving the concrete ground slick and reflecting the dim ambient light. In the foreground, wet pavement bears the faint, shining traces of white deck markings, guiding toward the steel giants. A lone figure in a yellow raincoat walks near the edge of the dock, their presence small against the scale of the maritime infrastructure. The sky is a uniform, darkening blue, casting a cool tone over the entire scene, showing the textures of wet concrete and oxidized metal.
