Kayaker in Standing Wave Under Starlight Gorge

Deep indigo water churns where a standing wave forms in the gorge, illuminated by faint starlight and a soft ground glow. A kayaker in dark gear punches through the crest, their paddle blade slicing the foam. The riverbank rises steeply on the right, lined with early autumn foliage showing hints of yellow and brown against the shadowed rock. The sky above is a vast, unbroken canvas of night stars, offering the only light source. The water surface reflects the pale sky in the calmer sections, while the wave itself breaks into white, textured spray. The kayaker's posture is low and forward, muscles tensed in visible discipline. One droplet of water hangs suspended on the paddle shaft, catching the faint ambient light before falling back into the dark current.
