The scene is framed by the cluttered interior, where hanging clothespins on a wire suggest a multi-purpose space, while a glass jar of salt sits near a stack of ceramic bowls. The harsh, mixed lighting creates sharp highlights on the metal surfaces and deep shadows in the alleyway behind him, showing the gritty, lived-in texture of a late-night supper spot.
