Lacquered Coats Backstage Kumasi Wet Season

Amber city light floods the narrow backstage corridor, reflecting sharply off the high-gloss lacquer of hanging outerwear. Steam rises in soft white plumes from a metal garment rack, curling through the humid air of the wet season. The coats, arranged in a tight lineup, display deep, saturated hues that contrast with the polished chrome hooks. Window light cuts across the wet surfaces, creating streaks of brightness along the curved shoulders and collars. Dust motes float in the amber glow, settling on the damp fabric. The close-up framing isolates the texture of the wet lacquer against the steam. one drop of condensation rests on the edge of a black leather collar.
