Glistening wet cobblestones reflect the sudden bursts of camera flashes illuminating a tight doorway in a Nouakchott couture atelier. Colorful umbrellas cluster tightly against the frame, their fabric heavy with recent rain. Several garment bags roll across the slick stone surface, their wheels leaving faint trails in the puddles. City lights from the street beyond begin to glow through the mist, casting warm, amber reflections on the waterlogged ground. The humid air hangs visibly in the damp atmosphere, softening the edges of the gear. A bright flash freezes a droplet clinging to the rim of a black umbrella, highlighting the texture of the wet fabric against the dark interior shadows.
