Gothic Rose Window Light on Terraced Garden Stone

Vivid bands of red, blue, and amber glass stain the rough gray limestone blocks of a Gothic rose window, casting geometric patterns across the foreground. The stone surface shows deep fissures and a damp sheen, evidence of recent rain in the dry mountain air. Behind the window, terraced garden plots slope downward, filled with late autumn foliage in muted browns and fading greens. The clear sky provides harsh, direct overhead light that cuts through the humid mist hanging near the ground. Layers of stone walls and plant beds recede into the distance, creating a deep sense of scale. A sharp shadow edge falls across a curved masonry joint at the base of the window.
