Blue evening light washes over a glass display case, illuminating a massive weta perched on a thick, tan leather glove. The insect's dark, chitinous exoskeleton reflects the sharp pink and green glow of nearby neon signage, creating streaks of color across its legs. Behind the glass, a polished wooden plinth supports the exhibit in a quiet indoor space. Early spring greenery is faintly visible through the museum windows in the background, softened by the shallow depth of field. one drop of condensation rests on the corner of the glass pane, distorting the view of the glove's textured stitching just below the insect's foot.
