Frozen Windmill in Winter Mist Near Helsinki

Thick white mist blankets a flat, snow-covered expanse where a traditional wooden windmill stands motionless. The four large sails are coated in a layer of ice, appearing rigid and heavy against the pale sky. The ground stretches endlessly in every direction, a uniform field of white that merges with the fog at the horizon. No shadows define the form, as the flat noon light diffuses evenly through the dense air, erasing depth and texture. The wooden structure shows dark grain beneath the frost, against the overwhelming brightness of the surroundings. One patch of dark earth peeks through the snow near the base of the tower, anchoring the structure to the frozen terrain.
