Gray mist flows between the steel towers of a suspension bridge, obscuring the span against a backdrop of stacked thunderheads. The late afternoon sun falls through leafy branches, creating patches of dappled light on the wet metal surfaces. Snowflakes drift gently downward, against the heavy monsoon clouds overhead. The wide panoramic view shows the vastness of the Algerian horizon, where the bridge structure rises above the storm. Salt air seems to linger on the girders, visible as a sheen on the rivets. One snowflake rests on a vertical cable, melting slowly against the cold steel.
