Fiddler in Autumn Evening Rehearsal

Sodium-vapor dusk glow floods a rehearsal room in Centro, Santiago, casting amber light across wooden floors and autumn leaves scattered near the window. A Cajun fiddler stands center frame, bow drawn across strings in mid-motion, his posture leaning into a two-step rhythm. Low-angle perspective emphasizes the height of the room and the dramatic clouds visible through the high glass panes above. The musician wears a heavy wool coat, its texture rough against the warm artificial light. Shadows stretch long across the floorboards, pooling in the corners where stacked chairs wait. Dust motes hang suspended in the amber beam, catching the edge of the fiddle's varnish. at the edge is the reflection of the fiddler's eyes in the polished wood of the instrument's neck.
