Peeling green paint flakes from the curved walls, revealing layers of gray concrete beneath. Brass gauges with cracked glass faces stand mounted on rusted metal panels, their needles frozen in the predawn stillness. The air vibrates visibly around heavy transformers and thick black cables that snake across the ceiling. Wide panoramic framing shows the structural monumentality of the space, where industrial pipes run parallel to the overpass structure.
