An elderly potter sits centered on a wheel, their weathered hands pressing firmly into a mound of wet clay. The spinning earth contrasts with the smooth, cool stone of the workbench beside it. In the background, shelves lined with unfired vessels stand against walls adorned with traditional geometric patterns. The wet season is evident in the damp sheen on the clay surface and the diffused quality of the light. Dust particles remain suspended in the shafts of sunlight that fall across the potter's focused expression and the rhythmic curve of the forming pot.
