Late afternoon sun slices through a narrow Naples alley, illuminating a cramped ceramic workshop where a potter balances on a wooden work stool. The floor is a mosaic of cracked terracotta shards and puddles that reflect the warm light, highlighting tile grout darkened by constant water use. Beside him, a vintage radio crackles with opera, its dials glowing faintly against the dusty air. A bath towel hangs damp from a rack, dripping onto a pile of rough clay, while a seam ripper rests haphazardly on a shelf of glazed tiles.
