Diver Deck Amber Tubes at Dawn Porto Alegre
Amber glass tubes line a narrow research deck, their curved surfaces catching the pale gold of the first sunrise. Salt wind ripples the air over exposed metal grating and wet surfaces in late autumn Porto Alegre. The corridor of equipment stretches unnaturally forward, extending visibly beyond the physical walls that frame the left side. Deep shadows pool between the tubes while bright highlights glint off condensation on the glass. One rusted bolt holds a clamp against the wind. The impossible length of the passage runs parallel to the visible deck edge, maintaining perfect perspective until it dissolves into the morning light.
