Day of the Dead Altar Candles Sunset

Rich amber sunset light floods the interior shrine, illuminating rows of hundreds of flickering candles atop a traditional Day of the Dead altar. The flames cast dancing shadows against the rough, textured walls lined with paper lanterns. Polished wooden surfaces and ceramic plates reflect small, sharp highlights from the warm glow. Heavy, unadorned fabrics draped over the display suggest the cool season. A wide panoramic view shows the sheer density of the wax pillars stretching across the floor, their melted wax pooling in irregular, translucent ridges. At the very edge of the frame, an unlit marigold petal rests on the dark, dusty floorboards, against the bright, melting wax nearby.
