Cyclocross Rider Shouldering Bike in Berlin Mud

Copper-toned light washes over a muddy path near Kreuzberg, Berlin, where a cyclist hoists a bicycle onto their shoulder. The rider navigates a low barrier, their legs deep in thick, dark mud that clings to tires and shoes. Early summer grass peeks through the churned earth, against the sudden, gentle fall of snowflakes that dot the warm light. The rider wears a dark jersey and helmet, shoulders straining under the weight of the bike frame. Water droplets hang from the handlebars, catching the fading sun. Snowflakes rest on the wet metal of the bike rack, while the rider's breath remains invisible in the cool air. at the edge shows a single flake landing on the red reflector at the rear of the bike.
