A pair of heavy-duty metal tool hooks hangs from a rusted rail, casting long, sharp shadows against the stained, off-white plaster wall, while a frayed length of hemp rope rests loosely near a stack of grease-stained recipe cards. A gardener in a faded blue apron leans over a stainless steel table, using a hacksaw to cut a block of aged provolone cheese, the metal teeth biting into the rind.
