Cushion on Kitchen Bench Midnight Rain

Soft fabric cushions rest on a worn wooden kitchen bench, stitched together from faded curtain panels in muted ochre and dusty rose. Rain streaks the nearby window glass, blurring the dark night outside Bokhtar into vertical smears of grey. A projector casts a warm, uneven glow across the room, highlighting the texture of the woven threads and the condensation beading on the lower window pane. The light reveals the rough grain of the bench and the slight fraying at the cushion edges. Shadows pool in the corners where the walls meet the floor, leaving the rest of the room in deep obscurity. one drop of water slides slowly down the glass, catching the projector light.
