Horizontal Tree Grows from Najaf Wall

Honeyed evening light floods a window seat in a Najaf kitchen, casting rich amber tones across a cushion sewn from old curtain fabric. The fabric displays faded floral patterns and visible stitching, resting on a worn wooden bench. Behind the cushion, a mature tree with full green leaves grows horizontally out of the plaster wall, its branches extending straight into the room without breaking the surface. Lamplight settles softly into the corners, illuminating dust motes near the leaves. The background remains sharp while the foreground cushion blurs slightly, creating depth. One leaf tip touches the edge of a ceramic bowl on the bench.
