Cuban Lavender Field Sunset Silhouette

Heavy overcast skies press low over a vast field of lavender in Cuba, turning the blooming spikes into dark, jagged silhouettes against the fading light. The sun sits just below the horizon, casting a flat, grey-blue wash across the clouds while the purple stems stand as black shapes. No direct sunlight touches the plants; only the ambient glow of the turning season illuminates the edges of the clouds. The ground beneath the lavender is dark and damp, suggesting recent moisture or the weight of the atmosphere. In the distance, a few scattered trees break the horizon line, their forms merging with the shadowed crops. at the edge is the sharp, irregular edge where the black lavender tops meet the pale, heavy cloud layer.
