Clay Soup Bowls in Cusco

A pair of rough clay soup bowls sits on a dark wooden kitchen table in a Cusco home, catching the soft gray light filtering through the window. The wet surface of the morning rain reflects faintly off the unglazed rims, showing the earthy texture of the pottery against the grain of the wood.
