Embroidered Cushion in Cusco

A woven textile cushion rests on a rough-hewn wooden bench in a sunlit Cusco courtyard, its vibrant red and gold threads against the weathered gray stone walls nearby. The bright late morning light casts sharp shadows across the intricate embroidery, highlighting the texture of the alpaca wool and the subtle fraying at the edges. Beside the cushion, a simple clay drinking vessel sits on the bench, its earthy brown surface absorbing the warm sunlight and at the base of the composition in local tradition. One postcard lies face down near the vessel, its glossy surface reflecting the intense Andean sky above the stone architecture.
