Pale morning light floods the stone chamber of a Garbatella rehearsal space, bouncing softly off the rough-hewn walls. A solitary figure stands near the center, surrounded by generous negative space that emphasizes the scale of the underground room. The floor is polished concrete, reflecting small, sharp highlights from the skylight above. Early spring shadows stretch long and soft across the uneven stone surfaces. The subject wears simple work attire, their posture still and deliberate. Dust motes float in the bright beams, suspended in the cool air of the cavernous room. One shadow falls across a curved stone pillar at the far right edge.
