Cool morning light falls through high windows, cutting through a thick haze of incense smoke inside a stone cloister passage in Yavatmal. A cellist sits in deep shadow, their dark cello resting against a rough, weathered wall. The bow stretches across the strings, catching a thin line of pale gold where the first light strikes the metal. Dust motes hang suspended in the beams, illuminating the grain of the polished wood and the texture of the cold stone floor. The instrument's curved body reflects the dim, dusty air, while the musician's hand remains steady, fingers pressing the strings against the fingerboard. One beam of light falls across the lower bout of the cello, highlighting the varnish against the grey stone.
