Indigo twilight washes the Acarigua streets where Bhutanese Tshechu dancers perform in deep shadow. Rim light traces the edges of elaborate masks and flowing ceremonial robes. A massive teacup, scaled to a swimming pool, dominates the foreground, its white porcelain surface catching the faint ambient glow. Wet season rain glistens on the pavement around the dancers' feet. Foreground bokeh blurs distant trees into soft green circles. The sky above remains perfectly clear and dark blue. Dancers stand in precise formation on the wet asphalt. The rim light separates the figures from the deep shadows behind them. one drop of water rests on the rim of the giant teacup, reflecting the indigo sky.
