Caber Toss Inside Glasgow Prayer Hall Dusk
Deep indigo twilight fills the high vaulted ceiling of a Glasgow prayer hall, meeting the warm orange wash from sodium-vapor lamps. A massive wooden caber rests upright on the polished stone floor, its rough bark texture catching the artificial light. Light rain streaks against the high arched windows, blurring the dark cityscape outside. Rows of prayer rugs lie folded neatly along the walls, untouched by the event.
