Brass Bosun Whistle Sunset Puglia Coast

Rich amber light from the early summer sunset washes over a polished brass bosun's whistle resting on a weathered ship's log. The metal surface gleams intensely, reflecting the dramatic, textured clouds gathering in the sky above. Dark leather lanyard loops around the instrument, against the pale, aged paper of the log beneath. Reflections on the glossy log cover create a mirrored composition, doubling the shape of the whistle and the swirling cloud formations. Rough wood grain runs alongside the smooth, warm brass. A sharp shadow from the whistle falls across the handwritten ink entries on the log page. at the edge is the reflection of a jagged cloud edge perfectly aligned with the curve of the whistle's flared end.
