Blue Evening Chair Lift Colorado Mountain

Steel-blue ambient light washes the scene as a ski chair lift hangs suspended against a steep, snow-dusted mountain face. Early autumn leaves the lower slopes bare with patches of brown grass and scattered pine needles, against the fresh white snow capping the upper ridges. The lift chairs, empty and motionless, dangle from a thick cable that cuts diagonally across the upper right third of the view. Above, a perfectly clear sky deepens from pale lavender near the horizon to a rich, dark indigo overhead. The metal towers stand rigid and dark, their shadows stretching long across the uneven terrain. One chair rests just below the cable line, its red safety bar catching the faintest glint of the fading daylight.
