Blue Agave Rosettes on Picnic Blanket in Ulsan

North-window sidelight cuts across a textured picnic blanket, illuminating blue-green agave rosettes arranged for mezcal production. Late summer heat hangs in the air, visible as fine dust motes dancing in the shafts of light that spill from the left. The succulent leaves display thick, waxy surfaces with sharp, silver-tipped spines, their colors shifting from deep teal at the base to pale azure at the edges. Shallow depth of field blurs the background into soft, indistinct shapes, keeping focus on the rough weave of the blanket and the organic geometry of the plants. One shadow falls sharply beneath the central rosette, at the base of the arrangement on the fabric surface.
