Pale morning light falls through a window, illuminating a ceramic plate holding blue-green agave rosettes arranged for mezcal preparation. The leaves display thick, waxy textures with sharp, serrated edges catching the soft glow. Indirect light bouncing off pale walls creates a gentle, even brightness across the scene. Deep shadows gather in the corners where lamplight has just begun to fade. The plate rests on a wooden surface, its rim catching a faint reflection. Seasonal change is visible in the slight dryness of the leaf tips. The arrangement suggests abundance and preparation. One dewdrop rests on the tip of the nearest leaf, refracting the dim light.
