Baseball Pitcher Mound Torn by Cleats on Harbor Quay

Tropical bright light cuts through thick winter mist hovering over a harbor quay near Marrakesh. A baseball pitcher mound rises from the wet stone, its red clay surface shredded by deep cleat marks. The earth is churned into sharp ridges where a player has planted their feet with fierce physical commitment. Beside the mound, a thick concrete wall runs along the water's edge. A fully leafed tree grows horizontally out of the vertical wall, its branches extending straight out over the muddy ground like a frozen gesture. Green leaves glisten with drizzle droplets against the gray stone. At the edge of the frame, a single brown leaf rests on the red clay, its veins distinct against the churned soil.
