Batter Hits Fastball at Harbor Quay
Hard coastal glare washes over a baseball batter mid-swing on a concrete quay near Oklahoma City. Late afternoon sun casts sharp, angular shadows that stretch across the weathered planks of the dock. The batter wears a dark uniform with white piping, muscles tensed as the white baseball blurs against the sky. Wind whips the fabric of the jersey and bends the blades of grass growing through cracks in the concrete. Behind the batter, the calm water of the harbor reflects the bright blue sky, while industrial cranes and rusted mooring posts stand in the distance.
