Bright noon light flattens the dust and heat haze over the dry savanna near Damaturu. A figure stands at the frame's edge, arms raised as a colorful parachute canopy unfurls from a backpack. Fine rain streaks the air, catching the harsh sunlight in thin, shimmering lines against the pale sky. The jumper wears a dark jumpsuit and helmet, their posture rigid with focus.
