Capoeira Flip on Wet Sand After Rain

Soft gray mist rests on the air, diffusing the late afternoon sun into a pale, uniform glow over the wet sand. A capoeira practitioner executes a high backflip, their body arched against the empty sky. The sand beneath is dark and slick, reflecting the muted light and the blurred motion of the athlete's feet. Mist hangs low, softening the horizon where the beach meets the distant, hazy treeline of São Paulo. The athlete wears simple, dark training clothes that contrast with the pale, damp ground. Water droplets rest on the sand grains, creating a glistening texture under the soles of the feet as they rotate. The figure is suspended in the center, surrounded by a wide expanse of negative space that emphasizes the isolation of the movement.
