Paraglider Stalled Over Calm Lake Lake

Tropical midmorning light floods the scene, casting sharp shadows across the mirror-calm surface of a lake near Fort-de-France. A paraglider hangs suspended in a full stall, the colorful canopy collapsed into a heavy, draped mass directly above the water. Low-hanging clouds hover just above the distant riverbank, their soft gray undersides against the vibrant green foliage lining the shore. The Dutch angle tilt of the frame emphasizes the precarious balance of the suspended fabric against the still water. Below, the paraglider's harness and lines stretch taut, pulling the canopy downward. One ripple spreads outward from the point where the pilot's feet nearly touch the glassy reflection, breaking the perfect symmetry of the water's surface.
