Yellow Mustard Bloom on Stone Ledge Night

Vivid yellow mustard blooms spread across a rough gray stone ledge under harsh fluorescent tubes. The flowers press tightly against the textured rock, their petals reflecting the sterile white glow. Dust particles hang suspended in vertical beams of light that cut through the surrounding darkness. The overhead angle reveals the stone texture beneath the floral carpet. Shadows stretch sharply across the surface, defining the depth between individual stems. No movement disturbs the stillness of the night. One petal rests on a jagged edge of the stone, catching the light.
