Under a flat, diffused midday sky, a narrow alleyway in the Medina reveals a craftsman’s workshop entrance where the harsh geometry of the architecture meets the soft clutter of daily trade. A weathered wooden gate, its iron handle worn smooth by years of grip, stands slightly ajar, revealing a dim interior cluttered with stacks of plush, patterned cushions in saturated indigo and ochre. Outside, on a low stone ledge, a silver salt cellar sits beside a small, unlit candle, their metallic surfaces reflecting the muted gray light.
