Worker Pours Bronze at Hohhot Riverside Foundry

Brilliant orange molten bronze flows from a crucible into a dark sand mold set on a wooden workbench. The worker wears a heavy leather apron and protective gloves, their posture steady against the weight of the pour. Behind the work area, the wide Yellow River stretches under a bright, overcast sky. Rain-wet cobblestones glisten with scattered puddles reflecting the grey sky. Steam rises visibly from the hot metal meeting the cool sand, mixing with the humid air. The industrial shelter roof frames the top of the view, while distant riverboats and concrete embankments define the background. Pools of cooling metal catch the light, creating sharp, glowing edges against the damp, dark ground.
