Wolverine Bounding Through Alaskan Mist at Dawn

Thick mist rests on the deep powder snow along a narrow game trail in Alaska. A wolverine moves forward in a powerful bounding motion, its dark fur contrasting against the white drifts. The nautical dawn light remains low, casting the foreground into deep shadow while a thin rim of pale light traces the animal's back and the edges of the snowdrifts. The distant treeline softens into a gray wash under the heavy fog. The creature's muscles tense under the heavy coat, and its paws sink slightly into the fresh powder. A faint glow highlights the tip of its ear against the shadowed fur.
