Winter Jiu-Jitsu Triangle Choke in Guilin Mist

Thick gray mist rests on the limestone karsts rising in the background of a quiet riverside clearing in Guilin. Just after sunrise, the soft overcast light flattens shadows, revealing a martial artist in a dark gi performing a triangle choke from guard position on a wooden mat. The practitioner's legs lock tightly around an opponent's neck, while the surrounding fog blurs the distant peaks into soft white shapes. Winter cold is visible in the stillness of the air and the heavy fabric of the uniforms. Patches of green moss rest on the damp stone near the mat's edge. The low angle emphasizes the tension in the crossed legs against the pale, misty sky.
