Orange low-angle light washes over a patchwork canopy of autumn leaves, creating a vibrant mosaic against the stark gray of a winter shoreline near Sfax. A thin layer of fog softens the horizon where the land meets the wave-cut coast. The ground displays a textured mix of fallen foliage in deep russet and gold, against the pale, damp sand. Shadows stretch long across the uneven terrain, showing the low position of the sun before it dips below the horizon. The stillness of the scene is palpable, with the mist hovering just above the ground cover. One shadow from a distant shrub falls sharply across a cluster of dry leaves at the water's edge.
