Wilting Tea Leaves on Mesh Trays in Blue Hour

Indigo ambient light fills the industrial food-processing floor near Fez, casting a cool, uniform glow over rows of mesh trays. Green tea leaves rest heavily on the wire grids, their edges curling as they wilt under the low-hanging summer clouds visible through the high windows. The sorting tables stand in silent alignment, their metal surfaces reflecting the dim sky. Dust particles settle on the rough concrete floor, catching faint highlights from the overhead fixtures. The low angle emphasizes the repetitive geometry of the trays stretching into the distance. A sharp edge of a metal tray catches the last light, revealing a thin layer of dried leaf residue along its rim.
