Whistle Tower and Bicycles at Dawn in Heat Haze

Pale morning light cuts through rising heat haze near Isla Margarita, outlining the silhouette of a factory whistle tower that stands in deep shadow. Below the structure, a cluster of workers bicycles rests on the ground, their metal frames catching thin edges of rim light that separate them from the dark base. The turn of seasons shows in the hazy shimmer distorting the air between the tower and the empty space surrounding it. Chrome handlebars reflect the bright, pale sky while the industrial structure looms against the clearing horizon. A small patch of green grass grows beside the nearest bike tire, marking the edge where the built environment meets the natural ground.
