Water Lily Leaf Under Haze in Indiana Meadow

Pale green light from the setting sun illuminates a broad water lily leaf floating on dark, still water. A fine layer of monsoon haze softens the edges of colorful wildflowers scattered across the meadow beyond. The leaf surface holds a waxy texture, reflecting the pale blue of the clear sky above. Vertical stems rise from the water, their green forms standing against deep shadows below. A small droplet rests on the edge of the leaf, catching the final rays of light before nightfall. The composition isolates the plant against a backdrop of blurred, colorful wildflowers.
