Honey-colored light floods the stage from a window, illuminating a vina player seated in a South Indian concert hall in Incheon. The musician's hands grip the long wooden neck of the instrument, fingers pressing against the brass frets. Fine dust particles float in the shafts of light, drifting across the player's dark silk kurta. The polished surface of the gourd resonator reflects the warm glow, while the musician's focused gaze remains fixed on the strings. The tight framing shows the texture of the worn fretboard and the intricate silver jewelry resting on the wrists. One brass ring glints against the dark wood of the instrument.
