Verdigris on Copper Penny Macro Shot

Bright emerald and teal crystals of verdigris spread across the curved surface of a copper penny. The green patina forms jagged, mineral-like clusters that rise above the dull, reddish-brown metal beneath. Soft, cool neon light reflects off the uneven texture of the corrosion, creating tiny points of electric blue and pale green. Behind the penny, rough bark covered in pale gray lichen fills the frame, its fibrous surface sharp and detailed. The foreground edge of the coin blurs slightly, drawing focus to the intricate chemical growth in the center. A thin, pale green line of patina traces the rim where the metal meets the air.
