Match Head Phosphorus Coating Macro in Warsaw

Pale dawn light slips across a weathered turquoise surface, illuminating the granular texture of a match head centered in the frame. The phosphorus coating appears as a rough, reddish-brown crust with microscopic irregularities catching the soft morning glow. Behind the subject, the paint flakes and cracks, revealing layers of older undercoats in faded white and gray. Soft reflections shimmer on the smooth, worn wood beside the rough match tip. The color contrast between the vibrant, peeling turquoise and the earthy match head creates a sharp visual boundary. Tiny dust particles hover in the beam of light, settling on the uneven surface of the wood. A small chip of blue paint rests near the bottom edge of the match stem.
