Yurt Skylight Passage Cordoba Late Summer Drizzle
Golden first light slices through a high skylight, illuminating dust motes and wet surfaces within a long, narrow passageway in Cordoba, Argentina. A traditional yurt stands centered in the corridor, its curved wooden lattice walls and heavy felt coverings against the modern stone and concrete of the surrounding architecture. Late summer rain streaks the glass above, creating soft, blurred reflections that dance across the yurt's textured hide. Water droplets rest on the wooden beams overhead, catching the sidelight as it skims the rough, earthy surfaces. Converging lines of the passageway walls draw toward the distant, hazy end of the tunnel where the drizzle continues to fall. One wet patch on the floor reflects the curved silhouette of the yurt's entrance, at the base of the structure in the immediate, tactile reality of the space.
