Twilight smokestack on cleared factory floor near Aba

Amber sodium-vapor light washes over a lone industrial smokestack rising from a cleared factory site near Aba. The sky above holds dramatic, heavy clouds tinged with violet and deep orange at the turn of seasons. Concrete foundations and scattered debris litter the flat ground, their surfaces rough and weathered under the artificial glow. The tall cylindrical structure stands isolated against the darkening horizon, its brick texture visible in the low light. Shadows stretch long across the dusty earth, showing the scale of the abandoned infrastructure. At the base, a rusted metal valve sits half-buried in gravel, its orange paint peeling to reveal gray metal beneath.
